When we lose joy, we lose energy. Paul refused to give up. Even alone in trial, he held to Christ and to the joy of the Lord. He encouraged the Corinthians and all believers to see the constant renewal of the inward man. The things of our present as small; let us look to Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:7-8, 16-18)
