The journey through life often feels long. We find ourselves wondering why Jesus doesn’t return as soon as we would expect. Peter reminds that God is not slow in keeping his promises, but he is patient. God wants everyone to repent and turn to him. There is an urgency to our mission because Jesus could return anytime; we are in the homestretch. We want to live ready for his return, but also do anything and everything we can to help others be ready as well.
