Recent attacks here in the United States are a sobering reminder that the threats we hear about overseas are not staying overseas. From a synagogue in Michigan to a university campus, these incidents reveal an ideology that is advancing and testing whether the West will remain passive. As believers and as citizens, we must recognize that this is not only a security issue but also a spiritual battle. 

Now is not the time for complacency. Be alert, be informed, and be discerning about what is happening around us.
