THANKSGIVING
We, Christians, should give thanks to God at all times - good or bad. When giving thanks, your heart will be boiling over with thanksgiving - "an expression of gratefulness especially to God."
We give thanks to God because we appreciate His love, and acknowledge His works. We may not fully understand the love of God for us, because He loves us so deeply, we cannot comprehend! Just like most earthly parents, God is seeking to have a relationship with His children and this is through the death of His Only Son, Jesus CHRIST. What kind of love is this, that He gave His only Son. Let us receive this love in our lives.
Our God is a true Giver. Ask Him, and He will give you. He has given us everything we need in this life. Therefore, let us give thanks to Him. It is not our strength that has sustained us but the LORD. Even for the things we see as 'little', let us give thanks to God. Like food, appetite, clothes, homes, health, life partner... AMEN.
