What comes to mind when you hear the word Church? If you are a believer, then you have Christ Jesus living inside of you and you are the church. You not only have Christ ... in you, you are also "in Christ". This means that you are also a part of His Body, the Church! Christ is risen and is alive and this life is the church. Briefly defined, it is alive...it is a body of people who are learning to live by the indwelling Jesus together. They have left behind the man-made religious system, along with all of the "baggage" associated with that system. They have embraced Christ alone as their only Life, Center, and Head of the church. They are learning to function as the Body of Christ in order to express His fullness. And they are learning to live together as His house and His family in face-to-face
community.
