Watching the footage from the October 7th attacks in southern Israel is deeply disturbing, and facing that reality is uncomfortable. What makes it even more troubling is how many people around us either doubt the events occurred or dismiss them altogether.

During a recent visit to Washington, DC—where I was invited by the Israeli Embassy to view documented recordings of the attacks—I had a conversation at the airport that drove this point home. When someone asked why I was in town, I briefly explained, and his immediate response was, “I don’t think that really happened.”

Encounters like that aren’t rare. Too many people are either choosing not to see the truth or simply haven’t been exposed to accurate information. That’s why it’s so important for those who do know the facts to speak up. Your willingness to share the truth genuinely matters.
