Keep watching, listening, and thinking about what’s being said in this day. Perhaps the most distressing is the brazen, bold, unapologetic, public opposition to expressions of the Christian faith. There is an unrelenting determination that the Christian faith has to be a private, sequestered thing—not expressed in the public place in any way. Now, the Church in our culture has been silently deciding what truth we are willing to stand alongside in the public square while our Lord has been mocked. Church, we’re going to have to have a new courage and learn a new response. We have a choice to make—whether we’ll take our eyes off of the One who has called us and yield to the fear or be people of faith and continue to see the name of Jesus lifted up and His Kingdom extended. It’s an important time.
