We’re living in a time where, apart from the power of God, we will neither flourish nor survive. And we don’t believe we can rightly understand how the power of God can be demonstrated in our lives, community, and families apart from understanding God's love. Now, the best way to understand God's love for you is in terms of valuation, and the value of your life in God's economy is expressed in what He was willing to offer on your behalf. The Bible says the payment for our redemption was not with gold, silver, or the blood of an animal. What was required to purchase us out of bondage and slavery to sin was the blood of Jesus. It required a cross. Your value in the eyes of the Creator of Heaven and Earth is off the chart! God loves you. It doesn't mean He'll give you permission for everything or wink at every behavior. He will invite you into a life of holiness, purity, and godliness. But God loves you, and you’re important to Him.
