Peter has been talking about scoffers. They are saying nothing is going to change. as they are. they willfully forgot God did bring cataclysmic judgment. they willfully forgot That God did not stand far off from His creation. they willfully forgot That God did not just start things going and then step back and watched them in their evolutionary development.
