Text: James 2:8-13

Putting words like “delight” and “blessing” next to the word “boundaries” might not, at first, make obvious sense. But consider this--without boundaries, there is no safety or order. That is true in both physical things like driving and even within the need to provide emotional safety within families. Those rules and guidelines are a genuine blessing when followed, but they can become chaotic when ignored. Spiritually speaking, the book of James reminds us that God blesses us with His boundaries and laws, but then applies the triumph and good news of His mercy and grace to our failures.
