Zechariah's Burden Upon Israel (4): The Departure of the False Prophets (Zechariah 13:2-6) by Rev. Angus Stewart

III. In That Day
Rev. Ron Hanko on Zechariah 13:2: “[The false prophets in our day] teach the people that what God has commanded is not important in the worship of God, but whatever makes them feel good, whatever moves and excites and entertains them. They lead the people away from the word of God the only place where the will of God may be known, and encourage them to try to discern the will of God through a kind of Christianized sorcery, by signs and wonders. They are no different than the Jews who tried to divine with sticks” (The Coming of Zion’s Redeemer, p. 376).
