Questions and Applications:

1. Who could ever believe that a teacher of God’s
Word would ever be described, as Paul described these Judaizes (Titus 1:10-16)? What would be the teaching that would immediately let you know that the Bible teacher was way off?

2. Consider the calling of a pastor? Among the
many things that he is called to do he must teach. Jesus said to Peter, “If you love me, feed my sheep” Jn. 21:17. Should this be your expectation when you come to church?

3. How would you define “sound doctrine,” to a
new believer?

4. How would you define teaching, if it should be
“according to sound doctrine?

E. Jesus said that only the Truth can set you
free, John 8:32. He also said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father, but by me” John 14:6. Receive Jesus today.
