The third servant in the parable doesn't really seem to know his master. He has a corrupted view of the master. Sometimes when we listen to other people talk about God we end up with a corrupt view of God.

Question: think about your time in God's Word. Do you spend more time listening to people/books talking about God or do you listen to God talk about God? Why is it important that we listen to what God says most of all?
