Paul continues his defense before the Temple mob. Over and over, he highlights the ways in which he has been a paragon of Jewish faithfulness. The crowd is with him until he crosses a red line -- Paul is for "them" -- the Gentiles. And if he is for them, he must be against "us." Where are we tempted to draw similar lines, defining who is in or out, who is with us and against us?
