In Matthew 5:17 Jesus says he did not come to destroy the Law of Moses. Instead he came to fulfill it. Now in Luke 24:44 Jesus tells his Apostles he has fulfilled the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Mark Ray takes this passage and explores prophecies found in The Law of Moses concerning the coming of Jesus to the world, explores the Prophets to see the foretelling of the death of Jesus on the cross, and explores the Psalms to see the reality of the resurrection and reign of Christ at the right hand of God. Seeing these prophecies fulfilled gives us comfort in knowing that God overcomes every obstacle in his path, that he has guided human history, and that he loves us.
