This wonderful Gospel story is one that the church for centuries has set aside to hear on this second Sunday of Easter. It takes place on that first Easter Sunday evening after Jesus in His resurrected state, has already, at this point, been seen four times that we know of, and now, He is seen by His ten disciples who are hiding behind locked doors because they were afraid that they were next in line to be arrested and killed.
