The Bible presents a much broader picture of the Gospel. That it's not simply about Jesus dying for your sin personally though that is true, but it's also about the Spirit being poured out. The dividing walls being poured down brought down on a new humanity a new creation Paul says; being established in and through the power of the Holy Spirit. You see the Gospel isn't only a narrow door that gets you in, it's the pattern by which we live once we're in. You see it's about Kingdom living. It's about getting along with one another. It's about Ephesians 4 the Apostle Paul says "Bearing with one another." The Gospel is only believed if we allow it to shape our lives.
