Jesus and his disciples find themselves amid a violent storm while at sea. Waves crashing, wind howling, and rain pouring down. The disciples were filled with panic, while Jesus was filled with peace. Jesus calmed the storm that had been raging around his disciples, but more importantly he wanted to calm the storm raging within his disciples. Amid their fear, Jesus told them to choose faith. Every day we are left to make the same decision amidst the storms of life…fear or faith? Jesus would say, Choose faith in me and a sense of calm will eventually come.
