Antisemitism means the hatred of the Jewish people, and it is flourishing in this nation and around the globe. But God has in no way distanced Himself from the Jewish people. Quite the opposite. In the book of Genesis, God told Abraham: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:2-3, NIV®️). That means if you belong to Jesus Christ, you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise He made to Abraham. So, our response to Israel doesn't begin with geopolitical decisions, nation states, and military capacity. It begins by understanding and agreeing with God’s perspective and intent for the Israel and the Jewish people.
