In his famed letter to the early Christians of ancient Rome, the Apostle Paul describes the Law as revealing how “all have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23). Efforts to fulfill the Law in our own strength inevitably fail yet ignoring the Law on the basis of presumed grace mistakes God's purpose for His people to be justified by a faith that fulfills the law.
