In last week’s Gospel lesson Jesus used the word “abide” seven times in the eight versus of that text, thus driving home the point that it was very important for us to fully understand what abiding in Christ means.

Today Jesus uses the expression “love” nine times; Again, emphasizing for us that love is the essential part of all of His teachings. Yet, this word “love” can cause us many problems.
