Our Lord Jesus declares -"ye shall know them by their fruits..". The message of the false prophet as not changed much from Old Testament to New. It is still "Peace, Peace". This is not the peace that comes from being justified before God and enjoying new life in Christ, but such is a peace of self confidence, self indulgence and carnality. These false preachers of our day, like the false prophets of old, preach and teach a salvation not from sin, but from hell, and human consequences.
