I'm planning on recording a video soon with cello after I've had some time to mess around with it, as I now have one through hilariously odd circumstance (suffice it to say, I am immensely glad I won't be linking myself to that petulant mental instability anymore). In the meantime, watch me almost cry while playing John Darnielle. Christmastime is always so stressful to me for a number of reasons, and this year has been a tough one, with the past week counting among the most batshit of all weeks I've experienced this year - the relief that it's over is deafening. I hope all of you have had pleasant winter celebrations of any number of varieties, religious or otherwise. Special thanks to Sidney LaPorte, and Hannah and Vassie Hollamon for letting me stay at your house this past weekend and not minding me playing your piano and drinking your whiskey.
