Praise and gratitude is absolutely biblical and absolutely necessary. Yet so many acknowledge this and neglect to extend outward expressions of praise and gratitude to God. Why? Perhaps we spend too much time dwelling upon our own corruption ...too much time looking at ourselves and not at Christ. We consider our own desires, but ignore the Lord's promises. We anticipate future trials while forgetting past victories and deliverances. You cannot praise God from a heart filled with discontentment and disappointment.
