Proverbs 12:6,7 says,
The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times. 7  You shall keep them, O Lord, You shall preserve them from this generation forever.

This is a promises of God on two levels
1. He will Keep them
2. He will preserve them from this generations forever
And we can trust what is said in it

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

1. Jesus is the word of God (what that means) John 1

2. Psalms 1:2 says the blessed person
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

3. Joshua 1:7,8
7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may [a]prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[b] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

4.. 1 Peter 23-25
 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 24 because“All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.The grass withers, And its flower falls away, 25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you

5. 1 Thessalonians 2:13
For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.


6. Ephesians 6:17
Take up the sword which is the word of God

7. Hebrews 4:12
 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
