The most powerful name, or word for that matter, in any language, is Jesus. 9-Phil.2.10" class="scriptRef">Philippians 2:9-10 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. Peter gave us an example of how we are to use Jesus name, with authority, to heal, and bring glory to God. Acts 3:6-7 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have to give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. But what about the name I Am, does it also have the power to do good in our lives? I am here to tell you yes. And many of us have been misusing and abusing this power without knowing it. We first see this odd name or title in Exodus, God is speaking to Moses, and Moses asks God whom shall I tell the people has sent me? What shall I tell them is his name? And God responded, Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. Jesus refers to himself as I Am in the Gospel of John, and was nearly stoned to death for using this name. John 8:58-59 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
