We are taking a break from Philippians for a special Advent series, Behold: A King Foretold. The New Testament begins with the shocking reality of the incarnation—God himself becoming man in Jesus who is called Immanuel (God with us). Together, we will look “backward” from Matthew’s gospel to Old Testament prophecies that foretell the birth of Christ the King.
