Worden Baptist Church was formed by the people of the Worden community sometime in the 1890s. Through the years the church and its members have had a reputation for being faithful to God’s Word and having a great spirit of love and fellowship.   It has always been a place for regular, ordinary people to come and find refreshment and acceptance.

Today WBC stretches far beyond the Worden community. People from the neighboring towns of Bald Knob, Augusta, McCrory, Newport, Judsonia, Kensett and Searcy come to worship together. Recently small groups have been started in several of these communities. WBC also reaches beyond its own immediate area by being involved in several worldwide mission projects.

We strive to be a church where people are REACHED with the gospel, where Christ is REPRODUCED in their lives, and they are RELEASED to share the love of Christ with the Bald Knob area and the world.
