The Season of Peace
Acts 9: 22 – 43

Point 1: Day and night they kept close watch
Act 9 v22 -25

a. Saul grew more and more powerful.
b. He baffled the Jews living in Damascus
c. Now he was proving that Jesus is the Christ.
- Earlier the attack was on the church.
- Now the attack is upon one man.

Point 2: Barnabas brought him to the disciples
Act 9 v26 - 28
Two things here:

a. The problem was the church was afraid.
It is the time to step out of our fears…

b. Barnabas stepping out of that fear.
This is the time to build
To encourage one another in the Lord.


Point 3: The church enjoyed a time of peace
Act 9 v31
Three things are mentioned in this text:
- It was strengthened and encouraged by the Holy Spirit,
- It grew in numbers,
- It was living in the fear of the Lord.
