The doctrine of the Trinity is a man-made idol and not the true God Jesus reveals. Read 1 John 5:20-21 as a single message. The true God who Jesus reveals to us is his Father. THIS is the true God and eternal life. We are to guard ourselves from serving any other God since anything else, such as a three-person-being, is an idol, idolatry.
