The World Mission Society Church of God (or WMSCOG) claims that Galatians 4:26 proves a second god called "God the Mother" or "Heavenly Jerusalem". But does their interpretation even stand the simple context of Galatians chapter 4? Does even their Sabbath-keeping-for-salvation stand in Galatians chapter 4? The same Paul who wrote Galatians 4:26 also wrote there is "one God" and "one Lord" and "one Spirit" (1Cor. 8:6, Eph. 4:4-6). The WMSCOG's interpretation of Galatians 4:26 makes Paul totally disagree with himself. This church finds it IMPOSSIBLE to read the Bible IN CONTEXT. They pick and choose select, isolated verses to support their blasphemous idolatry of two gods. Whereas God said "There is no God besides Me" (Isaiah 45:5) and "I know not one" (Isaiah 44:8). They make a mockery of the Word of God and turn it upside down.
