On Palm Sunday, Jesus rode into Jerusalem exactly when — and exactly how — God said He would. Over 500 years before it happened, the prophet Daniel pinpointed the very day the Messiah would arrive. The crowd waved palm branches. The city stirred. And yet the people who should have recognized Him most clearly missed it entirely.

In this message, Pastor Robert walks through one of the most remarkable intersections of biblical prophecy and history: Sir Robert Anderson's famous calculation from Daniel 9 that counts 173,880 days from the decree of Artaxerxes in 445 BC to arrive at the precise day of the Triumphal Entry — April 6, AD 32. Palm Sunday was not a surprise to God. It was scheduled.

So why didn't they see it?

This sermon explores three powerful truths from Mark 11:1-11 and Luke 19:41-44:
1. God revealed the time the Messiah would come (Daniel 9:24–26)

2. God revealed the manner in which He would come (Zechariah 9:9)

3. Yet the meaning was missed — and Jesus wept over it

Jesus didn't enter Jerusalem in spite of prophecy. He entered as prophecy, fulfilling every detail the scrolls had promised. When He wept over the city in Luke 19, He wasn't simply grieving — He was grieving that they had the timeline, the decree, the calendar, and still did not know the time of their visitation. This message is a call to pay attention. God has spoken. The question is whether we are listening.
