Timothy is best known for the two letters Paul wrote to him. His name means "honor God" or "honor of God" and indeed, he corresponded to this. We find his name a few times in Acts as well as in various letters of Paul. All the references taken together provide a good picture of this faithful and devoted servant of the Lord.
