People are not drawn to the gospel through activism — they are drawn to the gospel through actions and personal holiness. The second chapter of Titus shows us the importance of all Christians — men, women, young, old — living to honor God by the common, practical, ethics of their life. The characteristic most often mentioned is self-control, which means a sound, balanced mind that influences all areas of living.
