Trinitarian academics are completely deaf to the testimony of Jesus at John 8:12-58. They cannot hear what he is saying and Jesus explains why. Due to this total blindness, they interpret John 8:58 in direct contradiction to Jesus' testimony at verse 54. Jesus explained several times in this dialogue that he speaks what the Father gave him to say and for that reason his testimony is true since there are two witnesses when he speaks. He was the word of the Father when he spoke.

Jesus declares himself to be their God, Yahweh, God Most High.
