When it comes to trust, as people, we actually trust in each other more than we realize. So many people trust you and I to carry out the responsibilities and societal functions we are to do concerning our families, jobs, church body, etc. In addition, we, more than we realize, trust in others to carry out their functions also. As Christians, there are so many things that we rely and trust God for, then we also realize. However, those who don’t realize how much we are trust in others, or trust in God, reveals a heart that is not grateful, considerate, and often times takes these things for granted. When it comes to our relationship with God, we trust and rely on Him with so much and these blessings should serves as a reminder of how much we actually should be trusting in God and how we should always give God thanks for everything! When we become a people who always gives God thanks, our focus turns to the things that we trust God with in our lives to supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. Oftentimes, we consciously turn to trusting in the Lord only when calamity strikes. It is during those times in our lives where a circumstance will wake us up to turn to God and trust in Him to help us through the circumstance we are facing. And though going through times of trial is a principal in God’s kingdom, which is God at work in our lives teaching us, we should mature as a people of God to become those who trust in God without needing to be reminded to trust in Him through His discipline. In this Bible study we will examine how those who trust in God are blessed and protected, and how sometimes those who become blessed and protected at times forget about God and how God ends up humbling us, and how ultimately those who trust in the Lord are those who are in the safest place possible as followers of Christ. The lesson in this study is to examine the principle of trust, and how we as children of God can mature to a point where we can always trust in God through the times of blessing and times of discipline. AMEN!
