One of the great issues that faces every new generation of believers is how the people of God are to respond to the spiritual dangers that arise against the church. The New Testament is clear that we are going to deal with dangers that arise from within the church, and we are going to deal with dangers that seek to make inroads into the church from outside it. This doesn't mean that each generation is tasked with coming up with a way to deal with it. God has revealed the way.
