Paul’s letters carry a different weight when you remember he wrote many of them from prison. Daniel’s boldness is significant when you remember it could’ve cost him his life. Jesus carried the full weight of our brokenness to the cross. Their pain didn’t disqualify their purpose. It fulfilled it. That’s something we often miss in our culture. We want strength without the struggle. But biblically speaking, suffering isn’t a detour. It’s often part of the road God uses to shape us. Faith doesn’t mean pretending everything’s perfect. It means trusting that even in the darkest seasons, God is still leading you somewhere.
