When we think of preparing for Christmas, we probably begin to think of buying gifts in time, setting aside enough money, coordinating family events, attending Christmas services, setting out our advent wreaths and calendars, and preparing for the logistics of the season. But is that how we should be spending our Advent season of preparation? Is God hoping that we will be super organized this Christmas season, or would He rather we be preparing our hearts?
