This is the story of how three young adults with three distinct dreams, joined forces to bring the message of God’s unconditional love and grace to the people of France, by following the desires placed in each of their hearts, taking one step of faith at a time, to become Andrew’s mouthpiece to the French-speaking world.

After getting a degree in journalism, Martin Alargent didn’t feel at peace in his career and believed God had something else in store for him. Following the desires God had placed in his heart years ago, Martin made the move across the pond to attend Charis Bible College in Woodland Park. In addition to adapting to a whole new culture, language and climate, he heard a message so transforming, he couldn’t keep it to himself.

Realizing the call to bring Andrew’s message to the French-speaking world, God brought two other people alongside to help: Caleb and Kelly Fitzsimmons, who both felt the draw to serve God in France.

As this merry band of visionaries set off to Nice, they had no idea they would be attempting to start a brand-new ministry in a world on lockdown. Working in Martin’s parents’ basement and under government-mandated quarantine, this small team pulled together to translate the grace message into one of the fastest growing languages in the world.

After Andrew’s show launched in Frenched on EMCI TV, the response was so overwhelming, they knew the French-speaking world needed Charis. In September of 2022, decades of prayer for the nation of France were answered as Charis Bible College Nice opened its’ doors to the largest 1st year class from any international location.

Whether they’re translating new Gospel Truth episodes, taking books down to the post office or cooking food for those coming through their doors, this small team of pioneers and visionaries continue to faithfully sow seeds in France. And as a result, a culture once hard as stone, has begun to crack.
