Click on time markers to navigate this video. 1:55 - Message begins. 6:27 - Revelation 3:14-22 . 11:26 - Jesus is the Faithful & True Witness. 15:48 - What happens when a faithful witness testifies to the gospel & against a wicked world? They get mocked and/or killed. 18:26 - Jesus knows everyone's works. He knows what people did & why they did it. Lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, good to be spit out. 29:14 - The death knell to Christianity, saying you are rich & needing nothing. 35:07 - Jesus says the Laodiceans are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind & naked.
36:48 - The universal brotherhood of man & the Fatherhood of God is a lie. Does God love everyone? No. Hebrews 12:6-8, "6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”
7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons."
To all those people out there who think God hates the sin but not the sinner must come to understand that the Bible disagrees with them & they'll have to tell God He is wrong when they face Him on Judgment Day. God says in Hosea 9:15, "Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels." God hates sinners & their sin. Why do you think Hell is so terrible to the wicked? See our playlist called, "Dealing with Hell, Lake of Fire, Unpopular Bible Doctrines" with 44 videos & counting at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE04A1D0DFE95B95E & gain a Biblical perspective instead of depending on your own emotional feelings. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." - Proverbs 9:10. Did Christ die for the Eskimos who lived 500 years before Jesus lived? How about the Eskimos that lived 500 years after Jesus lived yet no one ever came & told them the gospel during that time? Did Jesus die for Esau in Romans 9:13? Did Jesus die for Pharoah who opposed Moses in Romans 9:16-23? Jesus told parables so people would not understand so they would be condemned by God instead (Mark 4:11-12; see our video "Did Jesus Die for Everybody Who Ever Lived or Not? Debate #4: WHY DOES JESUS SPEAK IN PARABLES?" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPHCMHCqubg). Jesus does not even pray for the "world" (John 17:9 cf 1 John 2:15).
there is no other alternative solution. It cannot mean the whole human race, for one half of the race was already in hell when Christ came to earth. It is unfair to insist that it means every human being now living, for every other passage in the New Testament where God’s love is mentioned limits it to His own people — search and see! The objects of God’s love in John 3:16 are precisely the same as the objects of Christ’s love in John 13:1: ‘Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His time was come, that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end.’ We may admit that our interpretation of John 3:16 is no novel one invented by us, but one almost uniformly given by the Reformers and Puritans, and many others since them. The most terrifying words a professing Christian could ever hear would be Jesus saying, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness" (Matt. 7:21-23). The Lord Jesus will declare those horrifying words to many, not a few, who will boast in the many works they did in His Name. They called Him Lord but did not obey His first command to "Repent and believe the Gospel" (Mark 1:15). It is a sobering thought to realize that 83% of Americans (click on https://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=90356&page=1) profess faith in Christ, but only a few of them show evidence of being born again as new creatures in Christ.
44:25 - Jesus stands at the door of the Christian church not the hearts of unbelievers.
53:10 - Be zealous & repent!
57:12 - This passage is directly applicable to the American church today.
