We take the elements in hand during the Lord's Supper and determine that we will render praises to the LORD. We will thank Him in the presence of all gathered for the sacrifice He has made for us. When we partake together, we pay our vow of thanksgiving. When we forsake the Lord's table, we do not count Him worthy - no matter what we say.
