The nature of our hearts makes it necessary to guard them. There are dangers we must be aware of. We can shrink in life with God. We need Word to quicken and heal. Hazael was one who didn’t realize the things he was capable of doing. Once he became a ruler his nature made itself known. Jeremiah 17:9; Hebrews 2:1-4; 2 Kings 8:10-15)
