“Now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility” (Ephesians 2:13-14). Christ-followers, whether Jew or Gentile, stand united through Jesus' shed blood and His redemptive work. That’s about our faith in Jesus, not our DNA. God invites us to redemption through His Son, Jesus of Nazareth. It’s not secured by joining a church, a denomination, or by keeping a set of rules. It’s not secured by being kind, generous, or loving. Those things are not wrong, but they will not qualify you for redemption before Almighty God. It requires us to receive by faith the gift of righteousness made available through Jesus' sacrifice.
