What if? Have you ever played that game with friends? Sitting around a room or table and talking about ‘what if’ this event happened or that event was changed can be fun. Of course we know we can’t change the past or create the future, but we can practice how to respond and be prepared.

“If” is a huge word with respect to one’s relationship with God. God offers the gift of salvation, but always attaches conditions we must meet. No, we don’t earn it, but we can’t receive the gift if we reject God’s conditions. The generation of Israelites who came out of slavery never met the condition of faith and were not allowed to enter the Promised Land. God hasn’t changed and his condition of faith stands for us today (Romans 1:5).

The big question is this; What happens if we refuse to meet his conditions? Nothing good my friend, nothing good.
