As a Christ-follower, you should want to be considered a reliable resource for what God is doing and imagine He can trust you with understanding and insight because you’ll expend the effort necessary to achieve His outcomes. It’s offensive to imagine God would send His Son, Jesus, to endure all He did so we could just mutter some simple prayer and then lead life on our own terms. Church, we’re called to lay down our lives and take up a cross daily. Will you answer the call?
