I think we oftentimes imagine faith as a passive thing, and I don't accept that definition. I think faith has to be lived out. It has to be demonstrated to be real.

If we will lean in to the opportunities God has made available to us, and treat them as something entrusted to us by the King, then we will see God move in ways we could have never imagined. When we are apathetic, we forfeit so much. I’m uncomfortable with the attitudes that flourish in our midst. We often have greater ambition for our investments or our grandchildren than we do for our relationship with the King. I’m not opposed to grandchildren or investments, but I would love to see every generation intentionally living out their faith and seeking the Lord in everything they do.
