Daniel had every reason to be angry and bitter. He had been physically removed from his homeland. He was a slave, but he didn’t focus on that. Daniel never diminished his zeal for God. Don’t allow expressions of evil that touch your life to diminish your enthusiasm for God or cause you to forget that you serve under His authority.
