February 17, 21

REVELATION CHAPTER 10:   The second WOE continues as we see an angel with a little book in his hand!

Verse 1… This is a mighty angel who holds the little book.
Ezekiel 1:24-28

Verses 2-3… The angel pronounces the coming judgment!  Some believe this angel to be the angel Gabriel, who is commonly known as the angel of announcements.
 
Verse 4… Seven thunders utter their voices.  And John is commanded not to write about the things which were uttered!
Psalms 25:14 …. Daniel 12:4

Verses 5-6… This angel declares that there should be time no longer. 
Daniel 12:7-9

Verse 7… The mystery of God.  A mystery is at truth which has not yet been revealed.
Colossians 1:26-27 …. 1 John 5:20-21 …. 1 Timothy 3:16

Verses 8-10… John takes the little book and eats it.
Ezekiel 2:8-10 …. Ezekiel 3:1-11

Verse 11… The angel tells John the Apostle that he must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. Could he possibly be one of the two witnesses found in Revelation?
Revelation 11:3-4…
                    
Summary of Revelation Chapter 10:  This chapter gives us a picture of the unknown mysteries of God, which are to be revealed in the end times.  Men have always sought to “guess” or imagine what the mysteries mean, often leading themselves and others into error.  This is where we must apply the fruit of the Spirit – patience!  Romans 3:4
