REVELATION CHAPTER 20 (continued):
·  THE DEVIL IS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE!

Verse 10… The devil will be tormented by fire and brimstone, both day and night, forever and ever.
Matthew 25:41…. Revelation 14:10-11…. Revelation 19:20….
Isaiah 34:8-16
·   THE ETERNAL JUDGMENT OF THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR THE LOST!
 
Verse 11… The earth and the heaven will pass away…all gone!” 2nd Peter 3:7, 10, 12
 
Verse 12… Dead = the unsaved dead.
 Revelation 20:5-6…. Jude 12-13…. (No believers in this judgment!) John 11:25-26. 
·   ARE YOU A BELIEVER?  HAVE YOU COME TO CHRIST WITH ALL YOUR HEART? … Romans 10:8-13
The dead stand before God (they have bodies):
Job 14:20-22… Romans 2:16…. 2nd Peter 2:9…. Job 21:28-30
The books are opened:
Proverbs 15:3…. Matthew 12:36-37….Romans 2:4-6….
Matthew 16:26-27 (The book of WORKS and book of WORDS
The book of LIFE is opened: Exodus 32:30-33…. Psalm 69:27-28…. Daniel 12:1…. Luke 10:19-20…. Revelation 3:5…. Revelation 13:8

Verse 13… The sea, death, and hell give up the dead which they held for so long! And every single one of the dead is judged according to their own works!
Romans 2:4-9…. Galatians 6:7-8

Verse 14… Death and hell…are cast into the lake of fire.
1 Corinthians 15:25-26

Verse 15… This is one of the saddest statements in the entire BIBLE – “And whosoever was not found written in the book of Life, was cast into the lake of fire”.

·  DEFINITIONS:   
LAKE (Greek = Limne) rendered literal as ‘lake’
FIRE (Greek = Pur) rendered ‘fiery fire; a blown fire’
BRIMSTONE (Greek = Theion) rendered ‘flashing  sulphur', originally denoted                                  as fire from Heaven, such as lightning’
